Pedestrian Traffic by Entrance
Pedestrian counts over 5-minute observation windows, broken down by direction.
Each entrance was observed at slightly different times, but all in the late afternoon. Counts reflect a single 5-minute window per entry-point and should not be treated as equivalent snapshots.
Seating Capacity by Entrance
Estimated seating capacity (formal benches and informal surfaces such as ledges, rocks, and steps) within each entrance zone.
Capacity figures are field estimates. Informal seating surfaces (rocks, ledges, steps) are counted where a reasonable number of people could occupy the space concurrently. In-park seating beyond the entrance corridors is excluded from this comparison.
Vendor Composition by Entrance
Number of vendors observed per entrance, broken down by type.
Permit Visibility by Entrance
Whether a valid permit was visibly displayed on each vendor cart or stand. "Unknown" reflects cases where observers could not clearly determine permit status (e.g., horse carriages and pedicabs where documentation is not typically posted on the vehicle).
Permit visibility is not a direct measure of compliance—a vendor may hold a valid permit that was not displayed at the time of observation.
